Our finding peace worksheet is designed to allow the writer to explore positive change, and future goals.  It is important to know where we are headed and how to get there.  Being mindful of our own wants and needs can allow the user to become more self-aware.  Self-awareness can help us to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves.  It can also allow us to accept ourselves completely and utilize our talents.  Having improved self-awareness can assist us in relationships and our ability to resolve conflicts.  It allows us to deal with conflict rationally instead of reacting emotionally to people and events. Being mindful allows us to have better control of our negative thinking.  It is important to our health and wellbeing to accept the negative things that happen to us and effectively problem solve while maintaining a positive attitude. Self-awareness leads to self-acceptance/self-love.  This often promotes genuine happiness that is often rewarded in personal relationships and in the work place. Other self-awareness/mindfulness activities to consider:

  • Yoga/Exercise
  • Meditation
  • Go for a walk
  • Evaluate your diet
